Delete Your Account
Last updated: 28 April 2026
You can request permanent deletion of your MokoDo account at any time. Deletion removes your personal data and all family data linked to your account. This action is irreversible.
Option 1 — Delete from the app
This is the fastest way. The account is deleted immediately.
Steps
- Open MokoDo and sign in as the family owner (parent account).
- Tap Settings (gear icon, bottom navigation bar).
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, then tap Delete permanently.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account:
Subject: Account deletion request. We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation reply.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and all child profiles in the family.
- All tasks, rewards, goals, orders, and coin balances.
- Photos uploaded to confirm completed tasks.
- Device-bound authentication credentials for all family members.
- Subscription records managed within MokoDo.
Retention after deletion
Some data may be retained for a limited period after deletion:
- Billing records — kept for up to 7 years to comply with Estonian and EU accounting law. Retained records contain only transaction metadata; no family or task content is included.
- Abuse-prevention logs — anonymised server logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
- Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before the backup cycle overwrites it.
After these retention periods all remaining copies are permanently purged.
Child accounts
Child profiles are part of the family and are deleted together with the parent account. A child cannot independently delete their own profile — the family owner must initiate deletion.
