Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 April 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MokoDo — the family task management service provided by Editale OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 17430609, Narva mnt 7-557, 10117 Tallinn). By creating an account or using MokoDo, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
MokoDo lets parents assign tasks to their children, approve completed work, and reward it with in-app coins that can be spent on parent-defined rewards or saved toward goals. MokoDo is available as a mobile app for iOS and Android and on the web at mokodo.app.
2. Your account
To use MokoDo you need an account. The account holder must be at least 13 years old. A parent or legal guardian creates the family and adds children to it — children use MokoDo under the supervision of the account holder. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed under your account.
3. Subscriptions and payments
- Mobile: in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Their terms govern billing and renewals.
- Web: payments are processed by Stripe via RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your subscription settings. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- Lifetime plan: a one-time purchase. Lifetime access is tied to your MokoDo account for as long as the service operates.
- Free trial: where offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
4. Refunds and right of withdrawal
For mobile purchases, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. For web purchases, consumers in the European Economic Area have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days. By starting to use a subscription during the withdrawal period, you agree that we may begin performance immediately and you accept that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed. For partial refunds in exceptional circumstances contact support@mokodo.app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content; use MokoDo to impersonate others; attempt to access accounts that are not yours; interfere with the service's security or availability; use automated tools to scrape the service.
6. Photos and user content
Children may upload photos to confirm completed tasks. By uploading content through MokoDo you confirm that you have the right to do so and you grant Editale OÜ a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely within your family account and as needed to provide the service. We do not use user content for advertising, training of third-party models, or any unrelated purpose.
7. Intellectual property
MokoDo, its design, code, and branding are owned by Editale OÜ or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while your account is in good standing. You retain ownership of the content you upload.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep MokoDo available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, update features, or discontinue parts of the service at our discretion. Material changes that affect you will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe pose a safety risk, or that we are legally required to remove. Upon termination, paid plans are not refunded for the current billing period except as required by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Editale OÜ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of MokoDo. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including statutory consumer rights in the EU).
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are to be brought before the Harju County Court in Tallinn. Consumers in the European Economic Area retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence and may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, the law, or our business. When we make a material change, we update the "last updated" date above and notify you where appropriate. Continued use of MokoDo after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
